PHOENIX — In 2006, the city of Tempe first bought the land, but affordable housing will be making its long-awaited arrival at the Apache Corridor next winter.
La Victoria Commons, which will sit on the northeast corner of Apache Boulevard and the Price101 Freeway, will offer 104 rental units priced for those who fall in the low-income category. Monthly payments were not specified, but household incomes ranging from $31,200 to $62,400 will be able to afford these units, according to a press release.
