Greenlight Communities, through its Greenlight Gives program, is offering $10,000 in support of hosting the local El Grito Celebration coming later this month in downtown Phoenix.
Phoenix’s “El Grito” celebration is a festive event that commemorates Mexico’s Independence Day and takes place on Friday, Sept. 15. The “El Grito” celebration is a lively and colorful event that includes traditional music, dance performances, food, cultural displays, and the recreation of Miguel Hidalgo’s “grito,” according to a press release.
