Maryvale High School special education teacher Kareem Neal will be able to live close to his school and pay a lot less to rent. The first Arizona National Hall of Fame instructor currently pays $1,900 for a downtown Phoenix apartment.
But recently he was at the groundbreaking for a new, more affordable complex blocks from his school, where
rents for a one-bedroom will start around $1,100.
